Welcome!
This is an interactive blog that explores acclaimed Canadian author Margaret Atwood's Cat's Eye through the perspective of an eighteen-year-old girl.
Check out my blog for my personal reactions as I read the novel, and I encourage you to read it yourself! There is a button that links you to Amazon.com to purchase Cat's Eye as well as a link to more information about its author. Additionally, visit the page "Elaine's Art" to explore the artistic expression of the novel's protagonist and what it reveals about her identity.

This blog was part of an assignment for my 12th grade AP Literature and Composition class. We were to read a novel of our choice (approved by our teacher) and write a total of five blogs on Weebly about the novel as we read. I really enjoyed this assignment, mostly because I loved reading Cat's Eye and I got a lot out of it on a personal level. Thus, it was not difficult creating blogs as I read because I had a lot to think about after each section of reading.
